Woodley Wanderers Youth Football Club was founded in 1971 and is now a well established club. It attracts players not only from Woodley, but also nearby towns and villages.

We currently have 14 teams from Under 7’s right through to Under 18’s. We were also one for the first Clubs in the area to start a ‘Multi Skills’ section which concentrates on the young age groups who cannot play in a team as directed by the Football Association (FA). This group focuses on the skills required for any sport and is delivered in a fun and innovative way from 4 years up.

All our Managers and Coaches are CRB checked, have First Aid Training and Football Coaching qualifications or are working towards these with support from the Club.

On the 2nd April 2009 our application for Charter Standard was approved by the FA. By achieving Charter Standard status means we have been recognised for providing a safe and quality footballing environment which meets the requirements of the Governing Body.
